White House: Ferguson Not All About Race

Monday at the White House press briefing when asked if President Barack Obama will address the race issue causing protests and riots all over the country triggered by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson fatal shooting of Michael Brown, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said is not all about race.

Earnest said, “The underlying issue hear are broader then just race that this goes to sort of a foundational relationship again between law enforcement agencies and the communities they are sworn to serve and to protect. Surely discussions of race are an important part of that relationship. There is no doubt about that, but its more than just that.”
