Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Special Report with Bret Baier,” former Vice President Dick Cheney said the Senate report on the CIA’s use of enhanced interrogation is “full of crap.”
Cheney said, “I think it’s a terrible piece of work, basically, it seems to me it’s deeply flawed. And I think that it’s sort of a classic example which you see too often in Washington where politicians get together and sort of throw the professionals under the bus. We have seen it before in Iran-Contra. What happened here was we asked the agency to go and take steps and put in place programs that are designed to catch the bastards that killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11, and thats exactly what they did and they deserve a lot of credit not the condemnation they are getting from Senate Democrats.”
“The report is full of crap, excuse me,” he added.
