Monday on “Charlie Rose,” former deputy director of the CIA Mike Morell defended the use of enhanced interrogation after 9/11 by explaining “it worked,” and giving the example of one detainee who told the agency the enhanced interrogation “freed him to talk” by rendering him unable to continue to resist.
