Sheriff Clarke: de Blasio Threw NYPD Under the Bus, Then Backed it Up

Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Milwaukee Co., WI Sheriff David Clarke said New York City Mayor “Bill de Blasio threw the NYPD under the bus,” and, “He backed over them again.”

“I will not soon forget how the entire profession of policing was trashed by some very powerful people in the United States, including people in the White House and in the United States Department of Justice. They sided with criminals and anarchists instead of coming out of the gate and defending the honor, the courage and commitment of our nations law enforcement officers.” Clark said. “Only when two of New York’s finest lost their lives, they were  killed violently did much the rhetoric kind of calm down. Now, much is being made about the NYPD officers turning their back on Mayor de Blasio after he threw them under the bus. Not only did he throw them under the bus, he backed over them again to make sure they stayed down. And then he did it again at the funeral.”
