Luke Russert: ‘For All the Talk’ Boehner Follows Pelosi Mold

NBC News Capitol Hill Reporter Luke Russert declared that “for all the talk about restoring regular order, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) acts “similar” to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC.

“For all the talk about restoring regular order to the House of Representatives, he still asserts the power of the Speakership similar to what Nancy Pelosi did. Sort of putting spending bills to the floor without going to the regular committee process and we expect that to continue moving forward. Because in all honesty, that’ll be the only way that him and [Sen.] Mitch McConnell (R-KY) can get things accomplished. If this thin goes to regular order, you see Andrea, the longer a bill is out there, the more time the outside conservative groups have to rev up against it” he stated.
