Buchanan Criticizes Media Coverage of French Terror Attacks

Columnist Pat Buchanan criticized the attention given to the terrorists who carried out the attacks against Charlie Hebdo on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”

“They’ve got the President of France addressing them, the President of the United States, they go up and they have the attention of the entire world for two days…what this is going to do is send a message to all these young, anonymous terrorists who go over there to fight that war in Syria or Iraq and they’re going to say ‘if you really want headlines, if you really want to make an impact, if you really want to immortalize yourself, why blow yourself up in a suicide bombing? The way to do it is in the West.'”
