WH Admits Obama’s Paris No Show a Mistake

Monday at the White House press briefing, press secretary Josh Earnest admitted the Obama administration made a mistake by  saying, “We should have sent someone with a higher profile.”

Earnest was referring to the Paris unity march attended by dozens of world leaders, including Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu, who spoke to the importance of attending the rally by saying, “There was a great deal of significance to what the world saw, the prime minister of Israel marching together with all the leaders of the world in one effort against terrorism, or at least a call to unite against terrorism.”

Earnest added, “Had the circumstances been a little bit different, I think the president himself would have liked to have had the opportunity to be there.”
