Anderson Cooper Mocks Obama, Biden For Skipping Paris March

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper poked fun and President Obama and Vice President Biden for skipping out on a French unity rally over the weekend on Tuesday’s “Late Show” on CBS.

After Letterman said that he was “impressed” by the unity march, Cooper sarcastically remarked “and to see President Obama there was just extraordinary.” He especially wondered why Vice President Biden was there considered “he [Biden] spends his weekend watching ‘Gilmore Girls’ on his DVR…what else does a vice president do?” He added that appearing at a march like the unity rally was “basically what vice presidents exist for.”

He concluded by declaring failing to have a senior official at the march was “a missed opportunity.”
