The Hill’s Stoddard: Obama March Absence ‘Really, Truly an Embarrassment’

A.B. Stoddard, Associate Editor of The Hill dubbed President Obama’s failure to send any senior officials to a French unity rally “really, truly an embarrassment” on Tuesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel.

“It’s an indication that not only is President Obama poorly served by his staff, but that were not engaged at a level that we should be whether inside the West Wing or within the State Department with our allies. To  the point where the leader of the free world wouldn’t be kept up on a spontaneous event with 44 world leaders in attendance, and that he — it’s one thing for us to learn on Sunday that it became a big deal. But he is the first person that should know. And so, it’s really, truly an embarrassment, otherwise they never would have apologized, this White House never apologizes, they never admit error and the fact that Josh Earnest had to come out yesterday and strenuously avoid calling it a mistake, but say ‘it’d be fair to say that we should have sent someone else’ is an indication that they’re really mortified.”
