FNC’s Smith: Science Denying Anti-Vaxxers Are Hurting Kids

Monday, Fox News Channel host Shepard Smith slammed “science denier” parents who do not vaccinate their children.

Smith said, “Hello, science. A lot of you want to talk about science deniers, that’s what you are. You measles no people! You non-vaxxers, you’re science deniers. That’s it. Health officials say it started at Disney theme parks in California back in December and has since grown to 100 cases. Those officials had declared the virus eliminated in the year 2000. Then a small minority of parent refused vaccines for their children citing all kinds of weirdness, including a possible link to autism. Which science says does not exist. According to the CDC, there is absolutely no link to autism. The anti-vaxxers are hurting all the other children by not letting Johnny and Janey get their shots. Get your shots. C’mon now.”
