McCain: Code Pink Physically Assaulted George Schultz’s Wife

Monday on Fox New Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) told more details behind his confrontation with  Code Pink members  last week during the testimony of  former secretaries of state Henry Kissinger, Madeleine Albright, and George Shultz.

Shockingly, McCain told the story of George Shultzs 80-year-old wife getting “banged into”, causing “pain and bruising.”

McCain siad, “If it was the normal stand up and get thrown out that’s one thing. They rushed forward. George Schultz, who is 94, had to stand between them. George Schultz’s wife, Mrs. Schultz, was banged into by these people, which caused her pain and bruising of her leg. They were waiving handcuffs that  actually could physically harm them. This wasn’t just people standing up. You look at that video, it was a threat to them physically.”

When O’Reilly asked, “Were they arrested by the authorities?”

McCain answered, “There was one policeman in the room who apparently stepped back. Now, the Capitol Hill police tell me it will never happen again and they are sorry. All of that that was not a protest. That was physically threatening two gentlemen and also the former secretary of state, Secretary Albright.”
