On ESPN’s “Sportscenter” on Monday, 2014 Little League World Series star Mo’ne Davis gave her reaction to the Division II college baseball player, Joey Casselberry, that was kicked off of his team after a crude tweet about her on Twitter.
Davis emailed his college, Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, asking for him to be reinstated because he deserves a second chance.
“Everyone makes mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance. I mean, I know he didn’t mean it in that type of way and I know a lot of people get tired of just seeing me on TV but I’ve got to, just think about what you’re doing before you actually do it. I know right now he’s really hurt and know how hard he worked just to get to where he is right now so, I mean, it’s pretty hurt on my part but I know he’s hurt. He’s hurt even more.”
