Hugh Hewitt: Hillary Reintroduction a ‘New Coke Moment’

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” referring to the disastrous attempt of the Coca-Cola Company to replace the original formula in the 1980s, conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt said Hillary Clinton’s attempts to re-brand herself will be a another “new Coke moment.”

Discussing the Clinton campaign claims she will reintroduce herself to America Hewitt said, “This is like a New Coke moment,” adding, “it’s like a “Weekend at Bernie’s” moment. I’m afraid they think they have a candidate they have to prop up from now until November of ’16. There isn’t any substance, isn’t any charisma, and most of all not trustworthy. That’s what those polls showed. She fails on the trustworthy question again and again.”
