Matthews: Obama Not ‘Very Disturbed’ Over Yemen, ‘More Focused’ on Trade

MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said that President Obama “didn’t seem that disturbed” over Iran’s actions in Yemen and “was more focused on the trade fight” on Wednesday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports.”

Matthews, who conducted an interview with the president last night, stated, “obviously, the president in the interview with me yesterday was talking about being pretty strong and stating we don’t want them arming people down there. We don’t want the Iranians arming the rebels down there. But, we’ll see, he didn’t seem that very disturbed by the whole thing, from what I could tell. I think he was more focused on the trade fight at home here.”
