Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly: ‘No Doubt’ Tom Brady Was Aware of Underinflated Footballs

On Wednesday’s “We Need to Talk” on CBS Sports, Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly was asked if he thought Tom Brady was guilty of being aware he was using underinflated footballs for games.

Kelly then responded there is “no doubt” Brady was aware because an equipment manager would not take it upon himself to do that without a quarterback of Brady’s caliber knowing it was going on.

“Oh there’s no doubt. There’s no way an equipment manager in the National Football League is going to do something to the football without the greatest quarterback ever to play knowing that, “Hey I did something to this football. He doesn’t know about it. The thing is, you do something like that, you’re going to get caught and Tom didn’t need to do it.”
