On Friday’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” on HBO, host Bill Maher let it be known that he has had it with Republicans bringing up Christian persecution in America, using the percentages of claimed Christians of both Republicans and Democrats in office.
After showing a handful of quotes by GOP candidates and as other conservative pundits, all of which echoed the same sentiment about Christians enduring persecution, Maher turned to a quote by Bill O’Reilly where he said soon it would be “open season” on Christians and white men in America, and mockingly pointed out “all those recent videos of police shooting unarmed white clergymen” as evidence.
“This idea that everybody on the left is plotting against Christianity and wants to wipe out religion is offensive to me!”
