Buchanan: Christians Need to Defy Being Put in the ‘Back Of Bus’

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,”  conservative commentator Pat Buchanan discussed the secularization of America’s popular culture and citing examples like removing religious statues from public places or accepting cultural changes like the gender transformation of Caitlyn Jenner being heralded as heroic and said it’s time for Christians to get off the back of the bus and demand their seats in the front.

“We are really in a cultural war in America,” Buchanan said. “It’s a religious war where secularism has succeeded in driving out Christianity, the formative religion of the entire West, out of the public square and out of the public schools.”

He added, “When people are trying to impose their values on you, and here I do agree with some of the civil rights movement, when they said look, we are not going get up and go to the back of the bus, I’m sick of it, I’m going to sit in the front of the bus. I think Christians need a little bit of that defiance.”

Buchanan compared the current times of Christians being slaughtered the Middle East to the massive massacre of priests during the French Revolution.
