Talk radio host Rush Limbaugh argued that a Washington Post piece that contained a quotation that “There’s not much Indian left in Bobby Jindal,” shows “”the effort to destroy Bobby Jindal is now underway” on Wednesday.
“Bobby Jindal made it official…right on schedule, the Washington Post, ready for this? Had a story…that Bobby Jindal is not any longer an authentic Indian. He’s not brown enough, but he has failed to make himself look white, not skin color, behavior, attitudinally. I mean, these people are obsessed with this. It is the left obsessed with surface indicators of who people are. It’s the left obsessed with skin color, it’s the left obsessed with sex and gender and orientation, they’re obsessed with it.” He added, “the effort to destroy Bobby Jindal is now underway.”
Later, he stated, “this is really horrendous, one thing that Bobby Jindal has had to deal with, for years, the left has been attacking him for not being brown enough or Indian enough for their liking. Because they are totally focused on that aspect of people, skin color, race, gender, sexual orientation, they’re fixated on it.” He further referenced Arsalan Iftikhar saying Jindal was trying “to scrub some of the brown off his skin,” and remarked, “This from the people who claim to not be racists.”
