Boehner: ‘We Will Do Everything We Can to Stop’ Iran Nuke Deal

Tuesday House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) reacted to the announcement by Obama administration of the nuclear deal with Iran and said if the details are as bad as the first reports suggest, he will make every effort to stop the deal.

Boehner said, “The deal that we have out there, in my view from what we know thus far is unacceptable. Its going to hand a dangerous regime billions of dollars in sanctions relief while paving the way for a nuclear Iran. This isn’t about Democrats or Republicans. This is not a partisan issue at all. This is about right verses wrong.”

He added, “We are going to do everything we can to get the details. And If in fact it is as bad of a deal as I think it is at this moment, we will do everything we can to stop it.”
