Watch: Trailer for Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’ Imagines Asteroid Missed Earth

The beautiful new trailer for Disney•Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” asks viewers to imagine what life would be like if the massive asteroid thought to have caused the extinction of the dinosaurs completely missed the Earth and dinosaurs and humans developed on the planet together.

The latest film from the powerhouse animation studio follows an Apatosaurus named Arlo (Raymond Ochoa) who befriends a human child named Spot (Jack Bright) during a journey across a harsh, young Earth.

Anna Pacquin, Sam Elliott, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright and Steve Zahn will all add their voices to the film.

“The Good Dinosaur” marks the first time that Pixar will have released two feature-length movies in a single calendar year; the first, “Inside Out,” was a smash hit with critics and audiences after its release in June.
