An 11-year-old Charlotte, NC student has been charged with stealing and trashing his teacher’s car, as well as stealing $1,200 worth of equipment from the backseat of the car.
Sixth-grade teacher Adrienne Friedrichs says the student walked out into the school parking lot with her stolen keys and used the unlocking sound to find her car and the car ended up with scratches, dents, gum on the seat, dozens of cigarette butts on the floor, a strong aroma of the cigarettes, as well as the missing baseball equipment.
Friedrichs said it was the student’s family that turned in the keys. The car had been abandoned at a dead end street.
