Carson: ‘I Have To Take’ Obama ‘At His Word’ That He’s a Christian

Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson stated, “I have to take him at his word” when asked if President Obama is a Christian on Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Wolf.”

Carson said that he believes President Obama was born in the US. When the discussion turned to whether the president is a Christian, Carson stated, “He says he is.” He added, after anchor Wolf Blitzer followed up on whether he believes the president is a Christian, “I have to take him at his word.”

After Blitzer continued to press, Carson responded, “I can simply say that I’ll take him at his word.”
