In the latest episode of BuzzFeed’s podcast “Another Round,” Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked about Kanye West declaration at this year’s MTV awards that he was going run for president in 2020.
Clinton explained she was very confidante she would be running for re-election in 2020.
Exchange as follows:
HOST: Kanye West announced he will be running for the president in 2020. If he asks you to be VP would you do it?
CLINTON: I have to say, I’ve told Kanye that I think that he might…He might want to wait because I’ll be running for re-election. I might want to give him some additional experience so he’s got, on all the other things he’s done on his resume, he’s got some kind of envoy role or something he could point to.
But I would not rule out anybody for vice president.
