Axelrod: Hillary’s Biggest Challenge — Making Her Recent Policy Shifts Believable

Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead,” former Obama chief analyst David Axelrod said the biggest challenge for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in tonight’s debate is to make her recent policy shifts to the left on issues like the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal “believable.”

Axelrod said, “The challenge for her is to take all of the policies, some of which she’s adopted recently, and weave them together into something coherent and something believable that people can hang on to. That is the challenge for her in this debate.”
