“McLaughlin Group” host John McLaughlin argued there is too much “fear and loathing” over North Korea and Kim Jong Un is “ready to undergo a conversion” economically on Friday.
After columnist Pat Buchanan said South Korea has “a real problem with North Korea” and wants the US there to provide security, McLaughlin declared, “All this fear and loathing about North Korea is excessive.”
Buchanan responded, “that is a very unstable, nasty, ugly regime, unpredictable, as well.” McLaughlin then argued, “He is ready to undergo a conversion, the leader.” McLaughlin clarified that this conversion would be an economic one.
