The Democratic National Committee has just posted an attack-ad that prominently endorses the leader of an Islamist group closely tied to the HAMAS jihad army.
Ironically, the ad was intended to slam GOP 2016 candidates — including Donald Trump and Sen. Marco Rubio — for conflating Islam with its doctrine of jihadi terrorism.
The appearance of the Islamist leader in the ad strengthens GOP leaders’ practice of describing the jihad attacks — such as the Nov. 13 mass-murder in Paris — as part of Islam, albeit a supposedly “radical” form of the very orthodox jihad doctrine. The doctrine urges the use of violence to spread the religion.
The DNC ad shows a 2001 video clip of D.C.-based Islamist leader Nihad Awad nodding favorably as President George W. Bush says that violence “is not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace.”
Awad heads the D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. In 2009, a federal judge concluded that “the government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR… with Hamas” during a trial into a HAMAS funding-raising operation in Texas.
HAMAS’ goal is to destroy Israel via violence. For years, it has launched thousands of rockets at Jewish neighborhoods in Israel, while citing Koranic justifications for killing the “apes and pigs,” as Jews are described in Islamic texts.
The CAIR group is so closely entwined with Islamists and with jihadis that court documents and news reports show that at least five of its people — either board members, employees or former employees — have been jailed or repatriated to the United States for various financial and terror-related offenses.
The record highlighted by critics also shows that CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Texas-based criminal effort to deliver $12 million funds for the HAMAS jihad group, that it was founded with $490,000 from HAMAS, and that the FBI bans top-level meetings with CAIR officials. “The FBI policy restricting a formal relationship with CAIR remains … [but] does not preclude communication regarding investigative activity or allegations of civil rights violations,” said an October 2015 email from FBI spokesman Christopher Allen to Breitbart News.
Since roughly 2006, Democrats embraced Islam as a political ally in their political war against the GOP. For example, in May 2012, Democrats held a lucrative fundraiser with CAIR. According to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, the attendees included Awad, Democratic Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the caucus’s campaign chairman Rep. Steve Israel, and two Muslim politicians, Rep. Keith Ellison and Rep. Andre Carson.
Since 2009, Obama has helped roughly 1.5 million Muslims migrate into the United States, even though Americans oppose the transfer of difficult-to-integrate, low-skill, welfare-using, and hugely-expensive Muslim settlers into the United States by a lopsided two-to-one majority.
The text of the DNC ad says “Republicans keep saying the same thing. Equating Islam, all Muslims, with terrorists is oversimplification and it’s wrong. But don’t take our word for it.” That’s when the video shows Bush incorrectly declaring that violence “is not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace.”
In fact, Islam means “submission,” not peace, and jihad has had a central role in expanding and enforcing the submission of Islam.
From its evolved beginnings in the 700s as a rival doctrine to the Byzantine Empire’s trinitarian Christianity, the religion of submission endorsed the use of war and terror to spread the faith. For example, its reputed final prophet, Muhammad, personally tortured a Jew, ordered his supporters to murder old women and critics, and looted numerous towns and convoys, according to the Islamic texts.
Various polls show large numbers of foreign and American Muslims still endorse jihad.
Islam is very different from the Christian religion that launched Europe and America into world leadership. For example, the God’s son, Jesus, reportedly ordered his supporters to “put your sword away” as he was being arrested prior to crucifixion, declared that the the peaceful and meek would inherit the world, and declared that government and religion are separate activities, according to the Bible’s New Testament.
In 2001, when jihadis murdered 3,000 Americans, few Europeans or Americans remembered anything about the history of Islam’s 1,300 year-old jihad war against the West. That war began in the 600s and reached its apex 1,000 years later when a Polish-led cavalry army defeated the Turkish-led siege of Vienna in 1683. For example, few Americans know that the U.S. Navy was founded because Islamic rulers in North Africa towns, such as Tripoli, were enslaving European and American sailors and travelers in the Mediterranean until 1805.
The resulting U.S. anti-jihad war is commemorated in the U.S Marine Corps hymn.
