Kasich: ‘Big Mistake’ for Obama to Move Forward on Syrian Refugees

On New York City’s AM 970, host John Catsimatidis welcomed Ohio Gov. John Kasich on his “The Cats Roundtable” program Sunday

The GOP presidential candidate took his stance on Syrian refugees, urging President Obama to “take the pause” or else “it would be a big mistake” (discussion starting around the 8:55).

“I, as the governor of Ohio, have written to the president and to the Congress saying ‘No, this is time to take the pause.’ We don’t know who these people are, and we know that many of them in Syria, who represent these radicals, are intent on infiltrating us. And until we can have an effective way to determine who they are, then we ought to take a pause. It would be a big mistake for the president to move forward on this.”
