A 14-year-old from Maryland set a world record Saturday after he solved a Rubik’s cube in under five seconds.
Lucas Etter was competing in the River Hill Fall Competition in Clarksville, MD when he solved the cube in just 4.9 seconds, breaking a record that had been set earlier that day.
Etter, who previously held a record in another Rubik’s cube category, had his time confirmed by The World Cube Association, who is now in the process of verifying the record.
