Jeb: Trump Intentionally ‘Provokes Anger’ Against Muslims to Divide the Country

Wednesday on “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” Republican presidential candidate and former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said his opponent Donald Trump wasn’t telling the truth on the subject of some Muslims cheering the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks in the immediate aftermath in Jersey City, NJ.

Bush said, “The Trump story I can’t control obviously. And I think over time people are going to see he’s not a serious man. He is entertaining. He wants to divide the country up. He exaggerates or doesn’t tell the truth as it relates to thousands and thousands of Muslims that were cheering in Jersey City. Those kind of things are just not factual and not actuate. And they are all done to provoke anger and angst and frustration that already exists. And I just think we need to get beyond that. We need to start fixing these problems.”
