Thursday at her press briefing, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters the Republicans “have a committee to harass Hillary Clinton,” so they could have “a select committee on gun safety in our country.”
Pelosi said, “We are very proud of our legislation in California to keep people safe and would hope nationally that we could come closer to that. The two bills that we are talking about now — well there would be three if you count the appeal to the speaker to establish a select committee on gun safety. They have a committee to harass Hillary Clinton; they have a committee to attack women’s health; they could possibly do something the American people truly want and that is to have a select committee on gun safety in our country.”
