On Sunday, New York City’s AM 970 host John Catsimatidis spoke with GOP presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) on his “The Cats Roundtable” program and the two discussed GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

The Ohio governor said of Trump’s ban on Muslims entering the United States, “I just think [Trump’s] dead wrong and it isn’t gonna happen and all it’s doing is dividing.”

He then ripped Trump for disparaging Hispanics and Muslims, as well for his insults on women, saying that would not “unify the country” and make it “stronger.”

“I don’t have anything against Mr. Trump personally, but we’re not going to scoop up 11-and-a-half million people and ship them out. He’s disparaged Hispanics and Muslims, and he’s insulted women. These are not the things that unify the country and make us stronger, and this just adds to that list.”
