In an interview that aired on CNN’s “AC360” on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden took on the issue of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) position on gun control.
Biden suggested to CNN’s Gloria Borger that Sanders should articulate his interpretation of the Second Amendment, which Biden says means limits to who can own a gun.
“What Bernie Sanders has to do is say that the Second Amendment says — which he has, of late — the Second Amendment says you can limit who can own a gun, that people who are criminals shouldn’t have guns. People who are schizophrenic and have mental illnesses shouldn’t own guns. And — and he has said that.
