Jeb: The Only Chance Hillary Becomes President Is If We Nominate Trump

Wednesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room ,” while discussing a new CNN poll that shows him tied for third in New Hampshire, Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said it’s a “tragedy” if his opponent Donald Trump becomes the GOP nominee because Hillary Clinton will beat him in a general election.

Bush said, “The reason why he attacks me is he’s scared of me. He’s insecure. He doesn’t believe that he can take me on. And while I’m doing worse than him in the polls, the simple fact is, why would he be tearing down someone who’s so low compared to him? This is because we’re moving up. And I believe that he believes we’re the real challenge for his winning the nomination. And the tragedy of this is we have a Democratic nominee, likely nominee who is under investigation by the FBI. The only chance that she could become president is if we nominate a guy like Trump.”
