CNN’s Foreman: ‘Simply False’ To Say Wall Street Is Out To Get Hillary, They’ve Given Her ‘More Money Than Any Other’ Candidate

CNN Correspondent Tom Foreman said it’s “simply false” for Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to claim Wall Street is out to get her since she’s gotten more money from Wall Street than any other candidate during Thursday’s coverage of the Democratic presidential debate.

Foreman said, “Well, there’s no question about it, some of her opponents are getting some big money from Wall Street out there, but not as much as she is.” Foreman then showed data from the Center for Responsive Politics that shows “[I]ndividuals tied to the financial services industry have given her more money than any other single candidate, including the Republicans.”

He concluded, “So, her claim out there that Wall Street is somehow out to get her is simply false.”
