Former Ohio State Sen. Nina Turner (D) appeared as a guest on MSNBC’s “Melissa Harris-Perry” Saturday and commented on how diverse the GOP presidential field is.
Host Melissa Harris-Perry brought up how “anemic” and white the Democratic field is, while Turner responded, has “diversity” and “choice.”
“I am very critical about my party when it comes to where the heck is the diversity, where is the diversity. And you’re right. We can say whatever we want to say about our Republican brothers and sisters, but they’ve got something for everybody on that stage,” Turner stated.
