Dem Sen Shaheen: Trump’s Outrageous Disrespect of Women Has No Place in Presidential Election

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” while discussing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump calling Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton “evil” in a round of word association on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” earlier in the day, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) said Trump was “outrageous” and the “disrespect that he has given to women” has “no room” in presidential politics.

Shaheen said, “I think Donald Trump is outrageous. His playing on people’s fears and prejudices has no room in a race for president of the United States. And unfortunate that the kind of disrespect that he has given to women, to people of other faiths, to Muslims, to immigrants, to anybody who disagrees with him in this race, is given so much play on air because I think much of what he says represents the worst in people.”
