Tuesday on Fusion’s “AMERICA with Jorge Ramos,”  Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) criticized Republican front-runner Donald Trump as a “reality TV star” and said he had “no depth or substance.

Partial transcript as follows:

RAMOS: Are you surprised Donald Trump is doing so well?

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Just about anyone that follows politics in America has been surprised” by Donald Trump. That a reality TV star who has shown absolutely no depth or substance or command of the issues in order to be president, is not only the [GOP] front-runner… we’re beyond polls now, now he’s winning actual primaries, and winning them by a lot.

RAMOS: Are you afraid of him? Do you think he could beat Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton?

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Well you know, Donald Trump started out his campaign declaring Mexicans rapists and drug dealers, saying that he’s going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it … Now he wants to ban an entire religion from entering the country… The Republican party is going to suffer for it when it comes to a general election.
