College baseball is underway, and Rice University senior pitcher Blake Fox unveiled a pickoff move against Louisiana-Lafayette that will be tough to top for the rest of the season.
With a runner on first in the fifth inning, Fox stepped off the rubber to “wipe his head” and then quickly tossed the ball to first. The baserunner got back to the base safely, but Fox’s new pickoff move was still pretty impressive.
