Thursday while campaigning in New York, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said his primary victories over the last couple weeks including Wisconsin demonstrate that the race has nationally turned away from Donald Trump.
Cruz added, “What we are seeing happening is the 65-to-70 percent of Republicans across this country who recognize that Donald Trump is not the best candidate to go head to head with Hillary Clinton and that if we nominate Donald Trump Hillary wins and she wins by double digits.”
