The Daily Beast’s Eleanor Clift argued that Iraq has not gotten worse than it was since President Obama took office on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”

Clift, in response to a question on whether Iraq and Afghanistan are better or worse off than they were when President Obama took office, stated, “I don’t think either of them are worse off than when he took office and to suggest that Obama is to blame, let’s go back to the original sin and the invasion of Iraq, which happened under the previous president. That was the biggest strategic bumble — bumbling mistake ever.”
