Watch: Ohio Man Throws Feces After Being Sentenced to 40 Years in Prison

46-year-old Ricky Hand learned Wednesday that he was being sentenced to 40 years in prison for a string of burglaries, and now he faces additional charges for his actions in court, says a Fox 8 report.

After hearing his 40-year sentence, Hand pulled four bottles filled with urine and feces from his arm sling and pants and then threw them at his lawyer and nearby deputies, who quickly subdued him.

Hand reportedly confirmed with the judge before the incident.

“Did you just give me 40 years, sir?” he asked angrily.

He was indicted on 30 charges including safe-cracking, breaking and entering, aggravated abduction and robbery.

Hand told authorities later that he had collected his own feces and urine in Ensure bottles while in an isolation jail cell.

An internal investigation is underway to determine how he was able to smuggle the bottles into the courtroom.

On top of the previous charges, Hand now faces five counts of harassment with a bodily substance, as well as obstructing official business and retaliation.
