Heilemann: ‘No One More Openly Campaigning to Get on to a Ticket Than Elizabeth Warren’

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Bloomberg Politics’ John Heilemann reacted to Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) appearance on ABC’s “The View” a day earlier.

Heilemann’s takeaway was that Warren, who made a campaign appearance in Ohio with presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, was actively campaigning to be Clinton’s running mate this fall.

“In both parties right now, there is no one more openly campaigning to get on to a ticket than Elizabeth Warren,” Heilemann said. “She is all-in trying to get on that ticket with Hillary Clinton. I saw her what she said yesterday on the show. I agree with you and I agree with you, Mika too. I think they look fantastic together. I thinks he would provide an incredible jolt of energy and help with the Sanders voters. But I mean Elizabeth Warren is out there on the campaign trail. She wants that spot.”
