Police in Pittsburgh, PA say a Hillary Clinton supporter lit a flag on fire near a group of Donald Trump supporters and attacked a man Saturday near a Clinton-Kaine event, according to CBS report.
Per the criminal report, Joshua Sturman was in the area to support Hillary Clinton, who held a rally nearby. Trump supporters gathered across the street, in what police say was a peaceful protest.
Sturman walked over to the group of Trump supporters, who were standing shoulder-to-shoulder, and then pulled out a flag and began to set it on fire.
Some of the Trump supporters tried to put the fire out, which “enraged” Sturman, who then pushed a Trump supporter to the ground and tried to get on top of him.
Police were alerted, and Sturman was detained.
Sturman faces charges of disorderly conduct, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and causing or risking catastrophe.
