Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” in commenting on the GOP’s history as the party Of President Abraham Lincoln, former Democratic presidential primary candidate former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-MD) said Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s “immigrant bashing and racist rhetoric would make Lincoln roll over in his grave his grave .”
O’Malley said, “Donald Trump can not not talk about the party of Lincoln. Donald Trump’s immigrant bashing and racist rhetoric would make Lincoln roll over in his grave his grave, Corey. The truth of the matter is that Donald Trump wouldn’t repudiate the support from a Klan leader.”
