MSNBC’s Witt: Murder ‘Becoming so Common’ in Some Parts of Chicago That It ‘Barely Draws a Headline’

Saturday on “MSNBC Live,” anchor Alex Witt reacted to the shooting death of Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade’s cousin, Nykea Aldridge, who was pushing a stroller on the streets of Chicago.

Witt said murder in parts of Chicago is “becoming so common” that it “barely draws a headline,” but Aldridge’s murder draws attention in part because of Wade’s fame.

Wade tweeted out the news of his cousin’s death and asked for help in the city of Chicago.
