MSNBC Guest: Trump Calling for Racial Violence, Intimidation at the Polls

Khalil Muhammad, Harvard professor of history, race and public policy, accused Donald Trump Saturday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” of calling for racial violence and voter intimidation when the GOP presidential nominee urged his supporters to monitor polling places in certain areas.

“It’s also clearly that the opening clip about what we do on these polls about voters intimidation is also the fundamental way in which voter suppression has happened over the course of 150 years in this country since the 15th amendment,” Muhammad said. “[W]e really have a candidate of who is calling for racism at the polls, racial violence and intimidation…”
