Dem Rep Becerra on Brazile Sharing Questions: ‘None of This Ever Happened,’ Not ‘Much of Anything Going On’

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” House Democratic Caucus Chairman Representative Xavier Becerra (D-CA) stated that there isn’t “much of anything going on” in the scandal former CNN analyst and current Interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile sharing questions with the Clinton campaign, “none of this ever happened,” and it’s all “speculation.”

Becrra said, “I don’t think there’s much of anything going on here. the question that apparently these stolen emails show never took place. CNN is — my understanding, CNN is reporting that it never shared questions for the debate with Donna Brazile or anyone else. And, so since it never happened, CNN says they never shared, and again we’re talking about emails that, from everything we know are coming from a Russian criminal hack that WikiLeaks is letting out. I think this is all a lot of information that goes nowhere.”

He added, “none of this ever happened” and that because Brazile denies giving anyone a question in advance, and CNN says they never shared questions with Brazile, “all of this is speculation.”
