This weekend, Andrew Whitney lost a unanimous decision to Farkhad Sharipov at Titan Fight Championship 42 on UFC Fight Pass.
Upon learning the results, Whitney threw a punch in frustration.
His fist then struck one of the ring girls in the face.
Whitney tried to catch the girl after realizing his mistake.
The girl was attended to and is reportedly doing OK from the blow.
Jeff Aronson, CEO of the Titan Fighting Championship said, via The Sun, “Our ring card girl was attended to by the ringside doctor and officials. She indicated she was fine and was more surprised by the punch than injured.”
