Saturday, MSNBC’s Joy Reid brought up President-elect Donald Trump’s tweets from earlier in the day saying he will “have nothing to do” with NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” when the show returns in January.
I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!

Reports by @CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my Presidency, even part time, are ridiculous & untrue – FAKE NEWS!

Reid, after pointing out Trump’s tweets denying any association with the show other than having a stake in it, said the president-elect’s tweets “should not be read as actual news.”
“Donald Trump saying that means absolutely nothing. His tweets should not be read as actual news, they are just things he tweets in the morning,” Reid stated on “AM Joy.”
