Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Republican National Committee chief strategist and communications director Sean Spicer was asked what the United States’ response to terrorism will look like during a Trump administration.
According to Spicer, it will be “swift and fierce” and devoid of political correctness.
“I think it is going to be swift and fierce,” Spicer replied. “Mr. Trump has made it very clear he understands the threat the radical Islamic terrorism poses to our nation and frankly to our friends and neighbors around the globe. And we’ve got to be able to call it what it is and root it out by the bottom.”
“We cannot be politically correct,” he continued. “We’ve got to understand the threat that we face and attack it straight on.”
